Now is the time to allow ourselves to become who we really are, with all our power to be a positive, generous person and embrace the new year!

For many of us, 2020 has been a traumatic year. It wreaked havoc on our job stability, our finances, our sanity, our health, our friends, and our family. It is time to take a step back and take care of ourselves, both mentally and physically. Much more than lighting a few sticks of incense and punctually recharging our batteries, self-care involves a genuine grip and being fully present in the moment. Between exercising, which helps our body to release stress and tension, and meditation which promotes the feeling of mental calm, there are many ways to recharge and revive the body and the mind to start 2021 on the right foot.

2020 has been challenging but also a great learning experience. Some will say it was worth it and deeply needed for a better world and a better life. It’s as if the universe was telling us it’s time to take care of ourselves physically and mentally. It is time to face the situation and act on it now! We have been confined through this pandemic, we had to look ourselves in the face, in front of ourselves and in front of others, to better learn who we are and to respect each other in order to live in a better world.

Try to see the situation we are living in as a gift, because every difficult situation has gifts to offer us, as long as we take the time to stop, observe, welcome the questions and answers that will certainly come with it. Ask yourself what are the deep reasons that cause you to experience anxiety, frustration, or any other negative emotion.

Welcome and observe the answers which will rise, which will be presented to you sometimes without you expecting it… This will allow you to understand and then disconnect, and maybe heal, those old beliefs or wounds that make you go through these times in a difficult way rather than enjoying this time of rest and rejuvenation.

Only true actions and thoughts of respect will allow us to create the freedom and happiness we aspire to.
